Citizens of six additional countries can now stay in the UAE for 60 days with a visa-on-arrival, doubling the previous stay duration for eligible travelers.
The UAE government has updated its visa-on-arrival protocols, granting citizens of six additional nationalities the ability to stay in the country for 60 days upon entry. The policy change expands the list of nations whose passport holders can process entry permits directly at airports, seaports, and land borders without the need for a pre-arranged visa. New Entry Regulations Under the revised guidelines, travelers from the newly eligible countries will receive a 60-day entry permit at the point of arrival. This doubles the standard 30-day duration previously afforded to many visitor categories, allowing for extended stays for tourism or business purposes. To qualify for the permit, travelers must ensure their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the UAE. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) oversees the implementation of these rules across all emirates. While the entry permit itself is issued upon arrival, administrative fees for processing may apply at the immigration desk.
